We have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Adani Rockhampton River Festival due to COVID-19 restrictions and the impact this will have on delivering the event.
The River Festival team is now working on plans for the 2021 event to be held 9-11 July pending post COVID-19 restrictions. This event will be a community celebration of resilience and creativity showing support for the food, beverage and performing arts industries.
We recognise the importance of Rockhampton River Festival to the local economy, community and most of all our valued supporters and understand how disappointing this cancellation is. We look forward to working with all stakeholders toward delivering an outstanding event in 2021.
Further updates will be promoted on the Rockhampton River Festival website and Facebook page as planning for the 2021 event develops.
