The Short Fall is the alias of Central Queensland based singer-songwriter Angelo Conway, who walks effortlessly through the realms of alternative, indie, pop & folk rock to create a catalogue of guitar-driven songs laden with vocal harmonies, catchy hooks and a hint of melancholy.

The Short Fall struck gold in 2013 winning an Australian Independent Music award for best Folk song with their debut single, The Meadow, which lead to Triple J play and a string of regional tours along the East Coast of Australia.

Fast forward ten years, through hundreds of gigs and a brief hiatus; Angelo has shed his folk roots to debut a host of brand new tracks with their own distinctive indie rock flavour including the most recent single, Foreign Land; a reflection Angelo’s own story as a Filipino migrant as well as exploring travellers’ tales of trials and triumphs.

Known for their high energy live shows, Angelo and his four compadres roar through their sets with road worn precision and skill, alternating their original tracks with head-turning covers and sing-along crowd favourites. The Short Fall are back in a big way and here to stay.
