Artist Collective Zone

The Rockhampton Regional Council was excited to showcase the region’s talented homegrown artists through the creation of an Artist Collective.

A key part of this year’s Rockhampton River Festival Community Arts Program, the Artist Collective aimed to highlight and celebrate the local arts community.

Council signified their commitment to fostering a vibrant arts community and supporting the growth of emerging talent by removing these common barriers that often prevent artists from sharing their creations and gaining exposure within their community.

Where is the Artist Collective?

The Artist Collective was located adjacent to the award-winning Rockhampton Museum of Art on Quay Street, creating an inspiring artistic environment and elevating the festival experience for both artists and attendees alike.

On Saturday of the festival visitors found the below artists with their works for sale in the artist collective zone. On Sunday the artist collective was transformed into Thrift-it - A celebration of everything second hand where visitors could purchase pre-loved, re-purposed and upcycled goods.
