As a volunteer at Rockhampton River Festival, you’ll play a key role in bringing Central Queensland’s biggest celebration of arts, culture, and community to life. Set against the beautiful Fitzroy River, the festival lights up the riverfront with music, food, and entertainment for over 35,000 visitors. From local talent to global flavours, it’s an unforgettable experience and you’ll be part of the team that makes it happen!

Roles Available
Guest Services & Workshop/Activation Assistants | These roles are responsible for welcoming event patrons and providing directional assistance as well as monitoring queues and even helping with workshops.
Ticketing Services | The ticketing team are responsible for all patrons entering the ticketed events. This is the ideal role for those who love to interact with lots of people and enjoy being part of a team environment. Onsite training will be provided.
Personal Attributes we look for
- A polite and outgoing attitude
- Good communication skills
- Great organisational skills
- Excellent customer service
- Confidence in speaking to groups
- Ability to retain information and good sense of direction
- Ability to undertake responsibilities unsupervised when required
- Prior volunteer experience highly regarded
