Together We Create Project 2025
The River Fest 'Together We Create' Project is a new initiative that started in 2024, giving the opportunity for our community to unleash their creativity and get involved in River Fest.
As part of this project, we invited students from local schools to express their creativity as they showcased the theme of "GROWTH." Imagine a world where anything is possible - draw what you want to be when you grow up or the vision you have for our future.
The flags created will be displayed during the River Festival at the Walter Reid Cultural Centre as part of our Arts on the Fringe program proudly presented by Stanwell.
Email us at riverfestival@rrc.qld.gov.au for more information or if your school would like to get involved.
Want to get involved in the 'Together We Create' Project?
During the River Festival weekend, a drop-in style workshop located in the CQ Contemporary Artists Group Studio at the Walter Reid Cultural Centre will be available for the community to create additional flags and either take them home or put them on display.
This workshop suits all ages, and all materials required will be supplied. Flags designed and created during River Fest workshops will be strung around areas of The Walter Reid Cultural Centre.
