Workshops at River Fest

Rockhampton River Festival was excited to present a great variety of Community Arts Programs, which locals to take part in a creatively curated series of interactive artwork.

No matter the level of artistic ability, these community projects gave participants a hands-on outlet for creativity and expression.

Over the course of the festival weekend, hundreds of participants of all ages immersed themselves in hands-on experiences led by talented locals’ artists and creatives. These workshops included a Messy Mural, Globe Art, Natural Fibre Weaving Looms, and Clay Exploration to just name a few.

Let loose and make a mark! The Aphrodite Art School Messy Mural is a large-scale, unstructured painting experience where children of all ages can express themselves freely with brushes, rollers, sponges and splashes of colour.

The River Fest 'Together We Create' Project is a collaborative arts project started in 2024, giving the opportunity for our community to unleash their creativity.
