The Arts on the Fringe program includes the Rockhampton Railroad Modellers Association, who are dedicated to creating and constantly improving a stunning model railroad layout for everyone to admire.
 

They are a small club of rail enthusiasts that are interested in the promotion of the hobby of Model Railroading. They have built a large HO scale layout which they are continually changing and enhancing for all to enjoy. Members of the club have a large amount of rolling stock from different countries which include USA, Canada, Europe and Australia, all running together.

They look forward to meeting fellow train enthusiasts at River Festival welcome any new members that would like to become involved in this hobby. The group will be open all three days of River Fest during these times: 

Friday 25 July | 5pm - 9pm 

Saturday 26 July | 12pm - 8pm 

Sunday 27 July | 12pm - 5pm 

What does Rockhampton Railroad Modellers Association do? 

They are a group of model railroad enthusiasts who have built and continually enhanced a model railroad layout for others to enjoy at the Walter Reid Cultural Centre. They always welcome new members to join their group. The group will be running model trains during River Festival.
