CQ Contemporary Artists are a friendly group of local artists of all levels creating artworks, learning new techniques and exhibiting to the public during River Festival.
What does CQ Contemporary Artists do?
CQ Contemporary Artists has been active in Central Queensland for 40 years ago with a focus on contemporary art. Artists produce a range of art including drawings, painting, prints and mosaics in a supportive, friendly network. The group regularly exhibit locally and regionally. Members meet weekly in their Walter Reid Cultural Centre studio, and enjoy regular workshops, exhibiting, drawing and painting field trips, mentoring, socialising and much more.

CQ Contemporary Artists will be hosting an 'Ebb and Flow' Art Exhibition in Gallery 6 of Walter Reid Cultural Centre.

There will also be a FREE bunting workshop 'Together We Create' held in the CQ Contemporary Artists Studio.
