Food and Markets

A festival favourite, Flavours of the World invited visitors on a culinary journey across countries and cultures featuring delights from German, Japanese, Thai, Spanish, and many more. Situated in front of the Tunuba Main Stage, it delivered an aromatic and flavourful experience that delighted the senses. From kebabs and crispy potato scallops to refreshing bubble tea and creamy ice cream, there was something to satisfy every appetite.

Adding to the vibrancy of the event was Market Village, offering something for everyone. Visitors browsed handcrafted jewellery, candles, soaps, resin art, homemade spices, sweet and even pet accessories designed for furry family members. It was the perfect place to discover unique treasures.

The Artist Collective was located adjacent to the award-winning Rockhampton Museum of Art on Quay Street, creating an inspiring artistic environment that elevated the festival experience for both artists and attendees.

On Saturday, artists showcased and sold their works in the Artist Collective zone. By Sunday, the space transformed into Thrift-it - a celebration of all things second-hand,  where visitors could purchase pre-loved, re-purposed, and upcycled goods. It was a haven for thrifty op-shop enthusiasts and curious browsers alike.
