Join the Celebration: Capricornia printmakers inc. screenPrint Design Competition!

Calling all creatives aged 13 and above! Get ready to showcase your talent and be a part of the vibrant spirit of the Rockhampton River Festival. In collaboration with Capricornia Printmakers Inc., we're thrilled to announce an exciting print design competition. 

Imagine your artwork adorning collectible tote bags and cards, cherished by attendees as mementos of this milestone event. Your design will be printed by Capricornia Printmakers Inc. and available for purchase by festival-goers.

Theme

Participants are free to explore any concept or message within their design. However, submissions must not contain profanity, hate speech, or content that could be considered offensive or inappropriate. This is a family-friendly competition, and we ask all entrants to keep their work respectful and inclusive.

DESIGN GUIDELINES

Size: No larger than A4 (21cm x 29cm)
Colour: Black and White. Please ensure your design has no more than 70% black ink. 
Content: Participants are free to explore any concept or message within their design.
Format: PDF
Note: Screen printing may affect fine line details.

Production at the Festival

Capricornia Printmakers Inc. will bring your vision to life at the Walter Reid Cultural Centre during the festival with festival-goers able to choose from the winning designs that they would like printed on a tote bag or card. Witness the transformation of your artwork into tangible pieces, adding to the vibrancy of this years' festival. 

The winning designs will receive a tote and card printed with their design and 12 months free membership to Capricornia Printmakers Inc.
