Please be advised that due to an infrastructure installation in the Art Link, there will be a temporary closure of Quay Lane between 11AM – 4PM on Wednesday, 9 July 2025.
For the safety of the community and contractors, traffic management will be in place to facilitate safe travel to Quay Lane for the affected businesses and residents. A traffic controller will assist with local access only during this closure.
While every effort will be made to achieve reopening on schedule, this may not always be possible due to unforeseen logistics/other circumstances.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

Denham Street to Art Link (behind Rockhampton Museum of Art)
Access will be granted by a Traffic Controller at the corner of Denham Street and Quay Lane. Traffic will be required to exit onto Denham Street, against usual vehicle direction.
William Street to Art Link (behind Rockhampton Museum of Art)
Vehicles wishing to access the south side of Quay Lane, between William Street and the Art Link, will be required to enter from William Street onto Quay Lane, against usual vehicle direction. Access will be granted by a Traffic Controller at the corner of William Street and Quay Lane.
