Founded by independent film makers in Manhattan, New York, the Manhattan Short Film festival has grown to become the world’s first truly global film festivals. Entrants from all around the world enter films (that are automatically eligible for an academy award!) that are then screened simultaneously around the world and voted on by international audiences.
